Shino Glazed Stoneware with Hakeme Brush Strokes
Small stoneware bowl that was washed in iron oxide, Shino glaze, then brushed with a handmade Hakeme brush while the glaze was wet to give texture. This bowl has always been a favorite of mine so I never put it up for sale before this. The shino pots always end up having a special place in my heart because it is such a chaotic glaze, along with being in a wildly unpredictable firing in a reduction atmosphere within a gas kiln.
Care: Hand wash recommended, but also dishwasher safe.
