Stoneware Teapot with Wood Side Handle
This teapot was thrown in stoneware clay, washed with iron oxide and glazed in shino. The inside is unglazed for ease of pouring and designed to be used with loose leaf teas. It has strainer holes behind the spout to filter them out. It can also be used with tea bags or any herbs. The wood used for the handle is an unknown branch I found while hiking in Utah.
Care: Wash by hand, and let air dry, not dishwasher safe.
